Wolves Top River Forest for Fourth Win, Now 4-1 on the Season🎾 The Michigan City Wolves boys tennis team earned their fourth varsity victory of the year on Friday, defeating River Forest 4-1 on the road. Behind strong play on the courts and a pair of default wins, the Wolves continued their early-season momentum. At No. 1 singles, Jacob Hazel looked sharp and in control, earning a 6-3, 6-1 victory. Carson Groszek battled at No. 2 singles but fell 6-1, 6-1 in a hard-fought match. At No. 1 doubles, Thomas Chatfield and Nic Williams delivered yet another steady performance, rolling to a 6-1, 6-1 win. With the victory, Michigan City improves to 4-1 and will look to keep building on their strong start as the season moves forward. City heads on the road Tuesday for their first conference match of the season against Crown Point. Go City!!!🐺
