Varsity Football Blanks Hanover Central, Dominates on Senior Night 31-0

The Wolves varsity football team started the season off on a great note with a decisive 31-0 victory over Hanover Central. The Wolves started hot, scoring on their first offensive play from scrimmage when Trinaston Hart connected with Zaire McKinney for a 54 yard touchdown pass. The Wolves offense spread the ball around rushing for 200 yards and throwing for 110. Defensively the Wolves forced 5 turnovers and allowed zero points. DQ Fields returned a fumble 83 yards for a touchdown and Zay Gipson added a 34 yard fumble return for a touchdown as well. Sophomore Charlies Barnes is the player of the game converting 3/3 extra points and adding a 31 yard field goal. Offensive standouts included: Trin Hart 4 completions for 110 yards and a touchdown, 4 rushes for 57 yards Zaire McKinney 2 receptions for 103 yards and a touchdown Damarion Evans 6 rushes for 42 yards Jeremy Thurman 4 rushes for 53 yards - Coach Cody French
