The lady wolves wrestling team travelled to Lowell High School and came home victorious to open their season. Zareiah Turner started the night strong at 130 pounds, winning by pin in the second period after getting a reversal off bottom. Damani Edgington wrestled at 135 pounds tonight and won by pin fall at the 16 second mark of the first period. At 140 pounds, Emma Nelson secured a pin fall victory in the 3rd period after a hard fought back and forth match. Demira Buchanan saw action for the first time at 105 pounds and secured the pin in the first period. Also seeing action for the first time Julianna Wolford wrestled at 115 pounds and suffered the lone loss for the evening. Receiving forfeits for the wolves were Alissa Gilyard, Avery Ostermeier, & A’Zealiah Turner. The lady wolves wrestling team travels to Alexandria Monroe on Saturday 11/6.
