IHSAA Student-Athlete Tip of the Week (9/14/26) "Promoting Education Based Athletics in Indiana" In every high school sporting event, there will be teams and individuals who will be successful. Winning teams on a particular night will have many athletes tasting success. The losing teams will have a handful of players who would be considered successful in their position. The question is, how do they react, win or lose? Are they satisfied with their own success or are they driven for more, once they have tasted that success? How do you react? Do you take a few days off after a win or success? Are you content? Good athletes are never satisfied with their last victory or success. Success pushes them to work harder and smarter to achieve even more. Some will say it is because they hate losing more than they enjoy winning. Others might say that winning drives them to achieve even more. If you dream of achieving more, don't become complacent after a victory. Remember your competition may be working harder than you are. Enjoy what you have achieved but keep working to become your best! All content property of Billy Shepherd Sports
