The MCHS girls track team participated in sectionals at Chesterton High School. The season came to an end tonight with no one on the team qualifying for regionals. The best individual finish of the night was Gianna VanNorman in the long jump with a jump of 14 '08". The 4x800 relay team (Maddy Parry, Lucy Murphy, Jamarah Jackson, and Kristina Sydoruk) picked up two points for the team finishing 5th with the time of 11:39. Those were the only points of the meet by our girls. Paris Stupar and Mayim Barishman both threw PR’s in the meet in both shot put and discus. Kristina Sydoruk and Jamarah Jackson both ran PR’s in the 800m. All finished outside of 9th place which was needed to get a point.
