The MCHS Boys & Girls Track & Field team had a strong showing at the Dick Deardurff Invitational in LaPorte on Saturday April 25th. Reaching the podium for the Wolves were: *100M Dash- DaMon Thomas 1st Place, Dashawn Collins 3rd Place, Jaelynn King 6th Place *200M Dash- Josh Sexton 4th Place *400M Dash- Alissa Gilyard 6th Place *High Jump- Jaiden Baker 2nd Place, Iyahni Grinston 1st Place *Pole Vault- Michael Hoppe 2nd Place *4x100 Relay- 3rd Place (Dai’Len Burnett, Josh Sexton, Dashawn Collins, DaMon Thomas) *4x800 Relay- 5th Place (Kristina Sydoruk, Jamarah Jackson, Lucy Murphy, Angela Lewis) Adding Personal Record performances were: Mia Brown- 3200M, Jamarah Jackson- 800M, Kristina Sydoruk- 1600M & 800M, Deandre Kirkland- 1600M & 800M, Dayton Ostermeier- Long Jump, and Jaiden Baker- High Jump. The Wolves are next in action at Merrillville High School on Tuesday April 28th.
