Michigan City Boys' Volleyball drops to Washington Township in first home match of the season. Player of the match honors go to Sophomore #16, Joshua Vaughn. After being our outside hitter for our first 3 matches, we moved to a 5-1 lineup, which pushed him into the middle of the net. He transitioned from the OH to a MH smoothly. Off of 23 attempts, he ended the match with 9 kills and 3 errors. His athleticism and volleyball IQ are increasing rapidly. He is growing into one of the best volleyball players Michigan City has had. The MCHS Boys Volleyball team opens next week with a match at Merrillville High School on Monday, March 30th. On Tuesday, we will host Valpo HS at the Wolves Den. Game times are set to start at 5pm.
